Terms and Conditions of Booking

Last updated: 2026-03-02

These Terms and Conditions («Terms») govern the booking and stay at Napulè Apartment, located at Via San Cosmo Fuori Porta Nolana n.119. By completing a booking, the guest («Guest» or «you») confirms that they have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms.

1. Subject matter and formation of contract

The accommodation contract covers the provision of room(s) for the period and under the conditions set out in the booking confirmation. The contract is formed when the accommodation accepts the booking and receives the amount due for the selected rate, namely the deposit or the full amount, as indicated on the website. Confirmation is sent by email and, together with these Terms, constitutes evidence of the contract.

2. Prices and payment

2.1 Price composition

Prices are stated in euro, apply to one room for one night, and include only the services expressly listed on the room page and in the booking summary. Tourist tax is not included and must be paid separately (see section 6).

Children from 0 up to 2 years old stay free of charge and are not counted in the number of persons for pricing purposes, provided their stay is communicated before arrival and no additional bed is requested unless expressly confirmed by the accommodation.

2.2 Deposit and balance

  • Deposit: at the time of booking, a deposit of 30% of the total stay is required. The booking is confirmed only after payment of the deposit (or full amount for single-payment bookings).
  • Balance: the remaining 70% (balance) must be paid no later than 15 days before the check-in date. We will send reminders with a link to pay the balance. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the booking may be cancelled without refund of the deposit already paid.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe (credit/debit cards). We do not store card details; transactions are handled in accordance with applicable PCI standards.

3. Cancellation and refund policy

The following rules apply to cancellations by the Guest. The reference date and time are those of check-in (first day of stay) in the accommodation’s time zone.

  • More than 15 days before check-in: full refund (100%): both the deposit already paid and the balance (if already paid) are refunded. The refund is made to the same payment method used, within the technical times of the payment network and the issuing bank.
  • Within 15 days of check-in but more than 48 hours before check-in: partial refund: only the balance (70%) is refunded if already paid. The deposit (30%) is non-refundable and is retained by the accommodation as compensation.
  • Within 48 hours of check-in: no refund. In case of no-show, no refund is due.

To request cancellation, the Guest must use the options in their account area or contact the accommodation in writing (info@napuleapartment.it). The date of receipt of the cancellation request determines which rule applies. Requests to reduce the number of nights or move the stay take effect only if confirmed in writing by the accommodation; without written confirmation, the original booked nights remain payable and the same cancellation rules apply.

If the accommodation cancels due to force majeure or because the accommodation becomes unavailable, it will refund all amounts already collected and, only if available, may offer equivalent alternative dates for the Guest to accept expressly.

4. Check-in and check-out

  • Check-in: from 14:00 to 20:00. Late arrivals may be arranged by prior arrangement (+39 342 334 7947, info@napuleapartment.it).
  • Check-out: by 10:00. The Guest must vacate the room and leave it tidy; unauthorised late check-out may result in additional charges.

On arrival, a valid ID (identity card, passport or driving licence) must be shown for guest registration as required by law (local and national regulations).

The length of stay may be freely agreed with the accommodation, including stays longer than 14 days. Any 14-night limit applies only to the calculation of tourist tax, not to the stay itself.

5. Pets

Pets are allowed only with prior written approval from the accommodation, to be obtained before arrival. Any supplement per pet per night is stated in the booking summary before payment. Pets may not be left unattended in the room, must remain on a lead in common areas, and may not use beds, sofas, or linen. The Guest is fully responsible for any damage, extraordinary cleaning, or disturbance caused by pets.

6. Tourist tax

Tourist tax (municipal accommodation tax) is a mandatory local levy and is not included in the room price. The amount, methods and exemptions are set by the relevant municipality. For our accommodation, in accordance with applicable rules:

  • The amount currently applied is €2.00 per person per night.
  • It applies for a maximum of 14 consecutive nights per person.
  • Exemptions apply to minors under 14 and to any additional categories expressly provided by the current municipal regulation. An exemption is granted only after the accommodation has verified the required supporting documentation.

Tourist tax must be paid separately (on site or via payment link sent by the accommodation) as indicated in the booking confirmation.

7. House rules and liability

  • Smoking is prohibited throughout the property, including rooms, bathrooms, balconies, corridors, common areas, and entrances.
  • The smoking ban applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, vaporisers, heated tobacco devices, hookahs, and any device that produces smoke, vapour, or aerosol.
  • Breach of the smoking ban will result in charges for deodorising, sanitising, and restoration; in serious or repeated cases, the accommodation may terminate the stay without refund for unused nights.
  • Quiet hours at night and consideration for other guests are required.
  • Events, parties or use of the property for purposes other than accommodation must be authorised in advance.
  • The Guest is liable for damage to the property, equipment or other guests during the stay and agrees to compensate in accordance with civil liability principles.
  • The accommodation is not liable for cash, documents, jewellery, or other valuables left unattended in rooms or common areas.

8. Privacy and personal data

Personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR and Italian privacy law. For details on data collected, purposes, rights and contacts, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law applies to all matters not expressly covered by these Terms. Any dispute shall be subject to the courts of the place where the accommodation is located (Naples), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection jurisdiction in favour of the Guest.
